All Natural Chocolate Cookies

Cookies is a kind of dessert which is famous among children and adults alike. But if those cookies are made with all of the natural ingredients then you have a special treat to wow your family. This all naturals chocolate cookies recipe is the one which you must try. We have used whole wheat to make these cookies to provide you with a healthy and nutritious dessert. However a variety of other flours can also be used while making these cookies. These include brown rice flour (use 2 cups), white whole wheat flour (use 2 cups), buck wheat flour (use 2 cups) and whole wheat pastry flour (use 2 cups).

As the name suggests, the sweetness comes from a mix of brown sugar and honey, all naturals. White processed sugar must be avoided and brown sugar presents a healthy alternative. These cookies will be soft and chewy in the middle however crispy and crunchy on the edges.

Let’s see the ingredients for this recipe

  •  Dark brown sugar 1 cup
  •  Canola oil 6 tablespoon
  •  Butter 6 tablespoon
  •  Honey 2 tablespoon
  •  Vanilla essence one and half teaspoon
  •  One egg
  •  2 cups of whole wheat flour
  •  Baking soda 1 teaspoon
  •  Table salt 3/8 teaspoon
  •  Premium chopped chocolate 4 ounces
  •  Sea salt 3/8 teaspoon

Now first we will make the sugar mixture. For this, take a bowl and add brown sugar, canola oil and butter. Start mixing these ingredients using a mixture until you get an even mixture. Then add egg, vanilla essence and honey and mix again. Keep beating until all the ingredients mix equally. Secondly we will make the flour mixture. For this measure your flour using dry measuring cups. Put your flour in a bowl and add table salt along with the baking soda and start stirring. Now add this flour mixture in your sugar mixture and beat at medium speed. Then add chocolate and keep beating until the ingredients are completely mixed. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take baking sheets. Make cookies from your dough and place them on the sheets for the first batch. Sprinkle sea salt and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cookies are light brown. Take out of the oven and let them cool. Bake rest of the cookies in the same manner at 375 degrees. Your all naturals healthy cookies are ready. Serve with coffee or tea. Happy cooking.
