Mexican Tortilla Wraps Recipe

Tortillas are a mouth-watering and comforting Mexican lunch that is so simple and easy to make. This Mexican Tortilla Wraps recipe is originally made with corns. Tortillas are layered with all healthy and tasty things. Salsa, mince, rice, ice Berg, beans, sour cream, and two type of cheese along with different spice mixes.

The following ingredients are needed for Mexican Tortilla Wraps.

  • Tortilla
  • Mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese grated as required
  • 1 tbs Iceberg – Butter

Ingredients For Preparing Sour Cream.

  • 200ml Cream
  • 1 tbs Lemon juice
  • 3 tbs Milk

Ingredients For Rice and Red Beans Mixture.

  • 1 cup Boiled rice with salt
  • 1 cup Boiled red kidney beans
  • 2-3 tbs Cooking oil
  • 1 tbs Chopped garlic
  • ½ tsp Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Fresh coriander chopped

Ingredients For Beef Mince.

  • ½ kg Beef Mince (with 20% fat)
  • 1 tbsp Cooking oil
  • ½ tbs Chopped garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Red crushed chilli
  • 3-4 tbs Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbs Lemon juice

Ingredients For Salsa.

  • ½ cup Chopped onion
  • ½ cup Chopped deseeded tomato
  • 1/4 cup Boiled corn kernels
  • ½ cup Chopped deseeded cucumber
  • A handful of freshly chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 2 tbs Lemon juice


Preparing Sour Cream

In the bowl, add cream, milk, and lemon juice, mix well and let it rest for 1 to 2 hours. Sour cream is ready.

Preparing Rice And Beans Mixture

In a wok add cooking oil and garlic and stir fry until aroma comes. Add paprika powder and red boiled kidney beans and mix well. Turn off the flame and mash coarsely. Turn on the flame, add boiled rice and fresh coriander, mix well and put aside.

Preparing Beef Mince

In a frying pan, add cooking oil, chopped garlic, and fry until aroma comes. Add the minced beef and mix well until the beef changes its colour. Add salt, red chilli powder, red crushed chilli, sriracha sauce and mix well and cook for 15-20 minutes. Until mince will completely done, add one tbs lemon juice, mix well and cook for 4 to 5 minutes & set aside.

Preparing Salsa

In a bowl, add onion, tomato, cucumber, corn kernels, fresh coriander, salt, black pepper powder, lemon juice and mix well.


On tortillas spread prepared sour cream, cooked mince, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, cooked rice mixture, vegetable salsa, iceberg, and wrap it. On the grill pan, add butter and let it melt. Put tortilla wraps in a grilling pan and grill from both sides for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Mouth-watering healthy Mexican tortilla wraps are ready to serve.
